Now you know why it was so quiet

Except for The Guardian, no mention of Gloria Arroyo's visit in the major dailies. Spain probably humored a former colony hence the fanfare. It's 3pm here and not even the BBC has posted anything about GMA's junket.

It seems efforts of Amnesty International and other Filipino Organisations highlighting GMA's corruption bore fruit.

A 30 minute audience? As anyone who has ever been to a royal event knows, that's not even enough time to cut the cucumber sandwiches.

And since only GMA and her scheming hubby plus some embassy staff were actually given an audience, ask yourself what those 40-plus Tongressmen/Alalay/Junketeers did with our tax while they were prevented entry into the Palace. Try Harrod's.

Even with the small print, The Guardian was less than impressed with Gloria Arroyo. Beh, buti nga.

Now, I wonder what Puno's spin doctors are going to brew in their cauldron of deceit back home?

I pay full taxes on my salary. I should get into "business" or learn to play tong-its professionally.
