The Dawgs Take The Nashman for another exciting Walk
Guten morgen. His Royal Orangeness Karl Willem and PA/PR Gromit lead the way...
This morning, PA/PR Gromit took HRO Karl Willem and The Nashman for an arty-farty walk..
...but first, we must do our bit to rid these isles of those nasty grey pests....
The Dawgs mischievously laying out wasabi peas....
You should have seen the face of this squirrel after he took the first bite!
If you want to kill yourself, try the the bridge that connects Rimando Road to Aurora Hill. The water is shallower but the drop is higher.
We went shopping at Sloane Street first but in deference to the poor jobless bankers out there, we will not show you those horrifying images of sartorial elegance that laden our bags. Anyways, this is our main destination, the new Saatchi Gallery. (More on this later because it's fricking awesome!)
After inspecting Nigella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh's art collection, we were hunger. For lunch, we picked up some turo-turo at a rather posh talipapa. (This is after all Chelsea.)
The Nashman chose some chorizos for lunch which we happily ate on the sidewalk. (Chelsea naman Ashley eh, hindi Bangkal Street kaya okey lang)
And2 na me Wr R u? Text ni tita. We went to browse the photography books at Taschen. It's a must!
If Senator Manny Villar saw this bookstore, he would shut it down based on his stoooooofid Anti-Obscenity and Pornography Law! Manoling Morato will melt on the doorway while Etta Mendez will bathe with her clothes on in Holy Water.
HRO Karl Willem and PA/PR Gromit then dragged The Nashman to the V&A for an exhibition on Cold War Design and of course to look at more jewels at the Islamic Art wing. It's niiiiice. (We loves having refreshments at the Morris, Gamble, and Poynter Rooms because it is so grand but we only wish that it had a face police on the doorway. Grabe Ashley, nasira ang ambience dahil pati mga undesirables na Kano with The Ateneo accent pinapayagan sa loob. Noise to my ears ang kanilang mga pagyayabang. Tse, dun nga kayo sa McDo kumain, mga philistines!)
After having our fill of all things cultural ek-ek, we boarded the train to Oxbarrio.....(in between we stopped by Harrods but Harrods is so tacky baduy at the moment we could not stand it and left quickly)
