Melanzane alla Parmigiana

His Royal Orangeness Karl Willem and PA/PR Gromit have gone lesbian and rustled up a vegetarian meal tonight. Leica Gurl had a craving for talong so talong it is.

First, slice the aubergines.

Salt and let sweat to remove the bitterness. Afterall, who wants to gobble bitter talong?

Making tomato sauce the usual way and frying the aubergines in olive oil after letting them sweat for an hour. Healthy nutters will prolly prefer baking the aubergines but that is just so wrong.

Commence layering.

We managed two layers of talong, sauce, basil, mozarella, and parmigiano.

Mmm. Healthful. Talong is good for you!

Now to the oven at 200C for 30 minots.


It's good to be a lesbian once in awhile.
