Sex and GDP
The dating site OK Cupid says money seems to be a more powerful influence on sex drive than culture or even religion.
..but I put it to you, dear reader, that countries which are sexually repressed or view sex as a purely procreative activity (and hence women are just baby vessels) like the Philippines are poor precisely because its citizens are not getting as much safe, consensual, multi-orgasmic, kinky, and guilt-free sex as they should. Consensual sex has many physiological benefits (as proven by science and medicine and not some arbitrary and moronic Canon Law) that can drive productivity and industriousness. Let's have more of it. Let the imbecilic bishops like Oscar V. Cruz and his ilk at the Catholic Bullshitters Conference of the Philippines suck their own dicks and leave the masses alone.
