Films I Watched From My Death Bed

1. Salt - Enjoyed. Jolie is nice to look at.
2. RED - better than Expendables.
3. Anthony Zimmer - Sophie Morceau and Yvan Attal. Awesome. Apparently remade into The Tourist with Jolie and Depp. Not looking forward to that.
4. Robin Hood - dragged so long between bouts of fever. Only finished because of Cate Blanchet.
5. Nomad - wasn't paying attention. Mostly for background noise while I was delirious. Will pay attention next time.
6. Tropa de Elite 2 - loves Col. Nascimento and the hard core action. Hate the ending though.

Hopefully the flu is completely gone.

My nurse is early this morning...

...to bring me coffee and me meds.

...and check my vital stats. And he farted too.

Like this dentist who supplies organic laughing gas.

The Professional Mourners Have Arrived...

I feel as if I'm on my death bed. Literally.

Er...

...it's got 4 legs. Maybe, perhaps, there is a small possibility, albeit hard to believe, that it took the stairs?

The Art of the Camouflage

The bravery of Philippine soldiers has never been in doubt. Sure there are corrupt generals and utterly incompetent police units but the Philippines has battle-hardened special operations units. The bravery of Filipino soldiers was truly on show in the first Gulf War. NATO soldiers were in awe as Filipino soldiers took their positions in the featureless sweltering desert. You see, the Philippines has tropical jungles and deep blue seas. The Philippine contingent were sent to help liberate Kuwait wearing their green camouflage. True Story.

These soldiers on furlough are doing their best not to stand out in the crowd. Learn.

Blending in with the environment.

Not.

Lots of them in the city.

I too would need camouflage and wouldn't want to be seen entering this shop.
