How hard was it for the Philippine Daily Inquirer and its Pulitzer-quality investigative journalist Emily Abrera to access this?
PDI ran a story on a fantasist named Caty Petersen who thinks her grandmother is Anastasia based on her grandmother's name and the expert findings of a fortune teller/medium. Emily Abrera should be nominated for the Pulitzer and the Philippine Daily Inquirer news editor who put this on the front page feted and be made Professor of Journalism. Still, this is why we love the Inquirer. It's a tabloid pretending to be a broadsheet and we get our mix of highbrow and lowbrow. Now if only the Inquirer could get Teddy Boy Locsin as a columnist then we have a one stop shop for all things happy, funny, ridiculous, and sad.
