What's in my bag, the contrived millennial look at me version.

1. 11" 256MB Macbook Air
2. 2nd generation iPad Mini 128MB
3. iWatch 1 (don't get, totally useless)
4. iPhone 6s
5. Red Fino wallet
6. 3-Pen Fino case
7. Laguiole knife
8. Lidocaine spray (marketed as ejaculation delay, but used for instant anti-pain spray)
9. Montblanc 145 notebook
10. Fujifilm XM-1 with 23mm WR lens
11. Omas Notti di Bologna M-nib fountain pen
12. Omas Milord M-nib fountain pen

No, I don't really carry all these. This is just to keep up with the pretentious and contrived EDC ("everyday carry") bullshitry. I mean who the fuck carries a folding knife in the city? For what? And you already have a smartphone, why'd you have to lug around a tablet? And a camera? Puleez! Photos are taken using phones now!

Anne Robinson asking the important questions...

Butter Chicken ti Igorot Photo Dump

Skin-on chicken with yoghurt, kashmiri chili, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin. The usual suspects.

Mix with hands and marinate.

Lots of ghee (it's butter chicken, innit?), onion, garlic, cumin, chili, fenugreek seeds, fenugreek leaves,

Add tomatoes and almonds. Cook and simmer.

Blend to a smooth paste.

Strain.

Fry marinated chicken in lots of ghee

Get that maillard reaction going. Then add the sauce and simmer.

Usual masala stir fry with peas and add crumbled paneer.

Peppers

Fill with paneer mix and grill!

Homemade butter chicken garnished with coriander. It was creamy enough from the butter and almonds, didn't add cream this time.

Grilled paneer stuffed peppers.

Add mango lassi, roti and raita. There's no need to make the roti yourself if there's actually someone with a mud oven nearby making them.

Traditional Loo Selfie

This is a Sir Norman Foster building. The loo stall walls are surrounded by mesh copper topped with transparent glass.

Mmmm Livers.

Sure you can do it yourself but why bother when you can get grilled livers at Nando's?

Indo-Malay Chicken Curry ti Igurut

The flat smells of curry spices.

Indo-Malay curry is quite mild compared to Thai or Indian curry so needs more chili.

Canadian Lobster Pasta iti Igorot

I saw Canadian lobsters in the grocery so I got one.

Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him well.

Going for a tomato based sauce.

That's a whole lobster in there.

Pig out portion of lobster tagliatelle.

Duck Confit Curry

It is possible to use French duck confit for Thai red curry...because I'm feeling lazy to deal with a whole duck right now.

Weymouth Black Calf

I got more shoe trees from the shoe guy on the alley next to the Pedder Building. Still same price!

I really need another wholecut shoe. Wholecut shoes are awesome.

In a cab.

Went to the French cobbler to get toe taps installed.

Lunch Today

Angel hair pasta, garlic, dried chili, lardons, black pepper, parmigiano, and truffle oil
